Here is now created the stimulus of employment and the promotion of the authentic Florina pepper to the outside world, with the creation of our Naumidis all pepper production processing unit, the Piperadiko in 2007 and all this in Agios Panteleimon Amyntaios Florina at an altitude of 600m, a village between 2 ancient lakes, Vegoritis and the stones that contribute decisively to the mildness of a special unique alpine dry microclimate, which favors the organic cultivation of peppers with a very rich flavor due to the cold air masses that reach the area from the Piperitsa mountain. It is in the center of one of the most antiquities-rich areas of the ancient Greek Macedonian Kingdom that is inhabited to this day, a village in the heart of a 4000 thousand year old vineyard of the famous sour black grape, where in the gardens, houses and orchards on the shores of the lakes of Vegoritida and stones, grow the famous authentic Florini pepper which is unique in its kind. Every house in the village in the autumn was decorated with dried peppers in hangings on the balconies and every yard smelled of freshly roasted peppers, centuries-old recipes with peppers that are preserved to this day and participate in various historical customs and traditions. Here the culinary culture of Agios Panteleimon and the pepper is huge and every family processes dozens of recipes and stores them in the cellars of their houses for their family needs.
